Shopping with a favorite client! Rug, mirror, framing, table linens...
As we were waiting for our flight back from London to DC last Wednesday, this little interview (my first!) that I did the week before went live. Talk about feeling nervous! Made me forget about any jitters about flying; that’s for sure. It is nice to feel nervous about things, though – I hope it means you are pushing yourself to do things that are a little out of your comfort zone and help you grow.
Well, no matter how I looked or sounded, I had a great experience being interviewed for Spencer Mazyck’s series on Bloomberg Law, Stealth Lawyers. I watched almost all of the interviews he had done before I did mine to prepare, and I couldn’t believe he wanted to include my story among all of these interesting stories. (I even purchased another stealth-lawyer-now-author’s book Life After Yes (by Aidan Donnelley Rowley) for my flight and loved it.)
So, if you want to hear a little bit about my transition from law to owning my own interior decorating business, take a look! (I look like I might fall out of my chair in the first few minutes, but I don’t, so don’t worry…).

*Thank you to Spencer and Bloomberg for making this a fun experience! And, I’m still thankful to my friends and family for their continuing support through this journey from law to design. I love owning my own business and what I do every day.
