Nicole Lanteri – On My Agenda

It’s relatively rare that I get a total blank slate to work with and free reign to put a design in place. This is what I had: An inspiration photo. A time-frame. And a tight budget. Other than that, my client let me get as creative, glamorous and fun as I could be with what I had to work with. I love a client who’s up for anything! She is young, lovely and loved color, which I infused throughout, keeping it strategically eclectic and harmonious. I think that the results are as fun as the installation process.

The most expensive item we purchased was the gorgeous cowhide which I layered over a natural fiber rug. It really adds glamour to the space and, as the focal point, made a coffee table unnecessary — keeping the room ready for an impromptu dance party.  The result is a chic space perfect for cocktails or dinner with friends or curling up on the day bed with a great movie on a rainy day.
