Nicole Lanteri – On My Agenda

I do keep pinching myself that I have this amazing career and each day I wake up and do what I love to do.  It took a lot of work to get here and takes a lot of work to keep it going but I don’t mind that part of my job at all.

2012 was a big year for On My Agenda!  Most importantly, I was extremely fortunate to work with great clients and am proud of the work I have done this year.  Here are just a few highlights from this year.  Looking back, I’m really happy how each space really reflects its owners and how they live and is unique!

This year, our home and my work was featured in a few places — which was exciting!  Apartment Therapy featured our home as part of their “House Tour” series (a series that I love! so fun to see how creative people are and what “home” means to them)

And, it was a “Top Tour of the Week”!

As well as a “Best of 2012″.

And, part of a round-up of “House Tours That Wow With Color” — they picked the “green room” which IS my favorite room in our home.

West Elm’s awesome blog Front and Main featured the West Elm Patchwork Dresser that I have used as a bar and buffet in our open space.

Washington Post Express interviewed me for an article about carving out an office space in your rental and featured a fun project where I turned an oddly shaped room into a office space for two for a super cute couple in a Georgetown apartment they are renting.  Best part was that the writer emailed me a little later to tell me she had gone out to purchase a West Elm Parsons Desk for her office space and was now all set up.  Love that!

I can’t wait to see what 2013 brings!  How I’ll get creative and stay inspired with our apartment (it already looks different than in the photos from Apartment Therapy!) and try out new fun design experiments, we’ll travel to some great places this year including to Mexico for a family wedding, host some fun get togethers (can’t wait for “An Evil Feast 2013“!) and make more memories with friends and family…and I already have some exciting projects I’m looking forward to working on and sharing with you!
